This policy explains how Tholify.com handles information when you use our free QR code generator. Tholify is operated from Morocco. For privacy questions, contact contact@tholify.com.

Information used to create QR codes

When you create a QR code, the information you enter (such as a URL, message, contact details, Wi-Fi information, or event details) and the design settings you select are sent to our service to generate the code. If you choose to add a logo or image, that image is also processed for the QR code you request. The information is encoded in the QR code output, so anyone who scans or obtains that code may be able to read it.

When you save a generated code, the service writes an image file to our QR-code storage directory so it can be downloaded. The site is configured to remove QR-code files older than one hour when its file-cleanup process runs. Do not include passwords, confidential information, or personal information in a QR code unless you are comfortable sharing it with anyone who can access or scan the code.

Technical information and third-party services

Our hosting provider may process standard connection and server-log information, such as your IP address, browser, and request time, to deliver and secure the website.

Tholify loads Google Analytics and Google advertising services. Google may collect or receive information about your browser, device, use of this site, and interaction with advertisements, including through cookies or similar technologies, in accordance with Google's own policies and settings. Accounts, contact, and retention

Tholify does not require an account to create a QR code. If you email us, we will receive the information you include in your message and use it to respond and handle your request. We retain that correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or as required by law.

Generated code files are subject to the one-hour cleanup setting described above. Technical logs and information handled by Google or our hosting provider may be retained under their respective policies and operational requirements.

Your choices and requests

You can choose what information to enter, avoid placing sensitive information in QR codes, decline optional cookies through your browser settings, and use available ad-personalization controls. To ask a question or make a privacy request, email contact@tholify.com. We will review requests under applicable Moroccan law and other laws that apply to you.

Children and policy changes

Tholify is a general-purpose tool and is not designed to collect information directly from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can review the request.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top indicates when it was most recently revised.
